I executed the plan this morning. My run turned into a walk with a few running jags because my legs were less than impressed with my insistence on running after their PR yesterday. But I did hoof it to the gym, lift, and hoof it back, so I’m calling it successful. I anticipate that I will HURT tomorrow (in a delightful way, of course).
Day: June 27, 2011
I think I’m going to get up early tomorrow, run to the gym, lift some weights, then run home and get ready for work. It’s only 2.2 miles to the gym, which is no big whoop, and running to get there and back will make the short distance more bearable. Plus it will be a good warm up for the lifting. Yup. I think that is the plan.
