Got these today. I LOVE my Vibrams, but need a second pair of shoes for times when FiveFingers are less practical. Tried on a pair of Adidas trail running shoes today too and only got one of them on before rejecting them–too much shoe! I so couldn’t deal with that anymore. Hoping to take the Vibrams outside this week for my shorter runs.

Forgive the flash in my face, but the wave of insecurity that hit over the weekend is gone as I realize that I can do belts again. Not like my pants are falling down without them, but they fit a little better with them. And I love being able to tuck just the front of a shirt in so you can see the belt buckle. Off to a good start. 🙂

(1) submitted my 1st proof for the February Fitblr races–doing the 5k this time around. A pretty average 5k time for me–43:30. My goal is to break 40 by my 2nd proof.

(2) today marks 2 weeks until my birthday. I will start celebrating next week. (seriously, I already have next Saturday all planned out) I ::heart:: my birthday–and I can tell already that 29 is going to be an AWESOME year. 🙂

(3) I was down another 2 lbs at my meeting this morning, which puts me 2-3 pounds from my 10%–and I want that damn keychain as my birthday present! I can totally do this in the next couple of weeks. It’s.On.

2nd time for January Fitblr races. Shaved 2 minutes and 3 seconds off my 2 mile run from the first submitted time. Holla! Even if I don’t place, I don’t care, because I shaved off more than 2 minutes in less than a month because I actually pushed myself.

Also, did this entire run in my VFFs. I’m sold. These are the only shoes I’m going to wear from here on out. I *LOVE* them!

Lunch/Dinner: homemade BBQ chicken pizza. (Crust, BBQ sauce, mushrooms, red onions, baked chicken, italian 4 cheese blend) No, I’m not eating the whole thing. The 2 pieces missing are mine.

And they were good. 🙂

It’s lunch AND dinner because I’m on a weird schedule today–I go into the office late and for a short day on Thursdays, so I run around and do errands (and RUN) in the morning, which throws my feeding schedule off. And I have to be at work the 2nd at 5 PM…so I figured I’d eat this sometime in between. Seriously, so good. 🙂
